In response to the inadequate support for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) survivors and their families, NCMEC has implemented the Continuum of Care model, featuring twelve pillars. These documents share the findings and recommendations from each of these working populations to help identify solutions.

Publication
"Be the Solution: Helping Victims of Child Sexual Abuse Material: A Guide for Law Enforcement"
With 60+ pages, I wanted to make sure the text was easy to follow whether you’re reading straight through or searching for content. Breaking up long blocks of words with photos and callouts provided much-needed white space for readers’ eyes to rest. Finding a cohesive yet distinct way to style all the different types of callouts (notes on self-care, quotes, key takeaways, etc.) was necessary but challenging while designing this document.
"Captured on Film: Survivors of Child Sex Abuse Material are Stuck in a Unique Cycle of Trauma"
In designing this document it was important to represent a soft, personal tone that is seen in use to highlight the survivor quotes. The same iconography from “Be the Support” is used in this publication for continuity between the two documents.
